Customized Support Services

FISMA Reporting Solution
Because each agency will have unique requirements we are offering FISMA Reporting Solution partners customized support. We will work closely with our new partners to develop a plan for a highly customized implementation of ASSERT to meet their needs, budget and agency size.

We offer unique support to our federal partners, including:

• Basic use of ASSERT
• Hosting the application at EPA's National Computer Center or at their own federal facility
• Membership in the ASSERT consortium
• Support of agency-specific data entry
• Help desk support
• User training sessions
• FISMA-related consulting for business process improvements
• Support for completing the OMB Quarterly and Annual FISMA reports

ASSERT Consortium
EPA has created a consortium to offer support to our federal partners using the FISMA Reporting Solution. Through the consortium, EPA is committed to sharing IT security knowledge across the federal community. Partners on the consortium have a voice and collaborate on enhancements and changes to the system. Each year, EPA releases several ASSERT updates to ensure that the system accommodates both the consortium vision and evolving NIST requirements. Partner participation and feedback has been instrumental in the ongoing development of this powerful FISMA reporting system.
